SAFETY PLAN FOR CYCLISTS
Cut-off times of timed courses
The cut-off times enable any suitably-trained cyclists to easily reach the finish point within the time allowed. This system protects the health and safety of cyclists, and also benefits the volunteers waiting for the cyclists.
Two cut-off times, calculated based on a final average speed of 18 km/h for the 147 km course and 19.5 km/h for the 170 km course, enable the entrants to reach the finish point by 4:30 pm at the latest.
A final average speed of 18 km/h for the 100 km course enables entrants to finish at 1:30 pm.
The last times will be recorded at 4:30 pm on the finish line.
